There are two different ways to renew your Norton(tm) software.

1. Symantec direct renewal. If you buy directly from them online, or have renewed from them before, you are possibly set up for automated renewal. If you have questions about the emails sent by Symantec stating you are about to be renewed, you need to go to Symantec click here. Automated renewals means your credit card will be billed automatically year after year. The problem is that people often uninstall the software, sell or change computers, change email addresses or completely forget about it until after they are billed. Your software should remind you before it expires giving you plenty of notice to renew or upgrade without automatic renewal, if you have it still installed

2. Renew here on this web site, NortonS.com at Johns Creek Software and use our renewal coupon. After purchase, you will get an email with a product key and a download link from us. You can ignore the download link unless you want to reinstall. If you reinstall remove all old antivirus and security, all brands, before installing your download. That is sometimes a good idea since older installations might be bulky and slow. There are more instructions under our FAQs.

If you did not get a coupon in your email, or have lost it, log into your account and look at your Account Information. There will be a renewal coupon there you can use. Renewals:

IMPORTANT NOTE about KEY ACTIVATION. About 45 days from your subscription expiring, your Norton software will start prompting you to purchase a new subscription. Underneath where it asks you to do that, it has a place you can put in a new key, which will add 366 days to whatever time you have remaining. If you already have a subscription with time left on it, it will add that time to the year....if, and only if, it's exactly the same product and number of PCs.

If your Norton software is not working right or you just want to reinstal or upgrade tol a newer version, uninstall all Norton software and any other antivirus or computer security product.Then install your new one from the download link we send after purchase. Your new software key will access the latest versions you download from the link.

IMPORTANT!!! It will start a new subscription when you put your key in IF you did a new install or upgrade and you will loose any days on the old subscriptionl. If you want to you can wait until the current version runs out of days then re-install or install your upgrade using the new key. If you are having problems that you need help with please contact us. If you upgraded you will loose the time remaining on your older product since you have to uninstall it. If you want to keep the remaining time on the old software the simplest thing to do is to buy your software key now, wait until the day your current software expires, THEN...uninstall the old, and install the new, putting in the new key during install.
